Hi All,
I just want my audio from the TV to play thru my Stereo system? I have a Phillips flat screen with a million conections and a Music Hall 25.2 amp with very little connections. Can I do this with this system, and if yes, how? I can connect the audio of my dvd player thru the Music Hall amp when I play DVDs but lost as to how to make regular old TV to play thru the stereo.

I am saddened to have read that a man of Art Dudley's stature and writing talents is forced to supplement his income by playing at wedding receptions. Jobs in the wedding industry are some of the thankless and grueling jobs out there. You get a glimpse of it from Art's description of the audience's reaction to the band. It's a shame that Art has to be a part of that industry given his obvious talents as a writer and having run a magazine of his own.

So heres what I'm looking at. I will be buying a new house in the coming weeks and will be adding a home theater system in the living room. The living room is open concept right next to the kitchen and dinning room, so while is primarily for watching movies (Son BDPS300) and sports (Motorolla HD DVR) it will on occasion be used for music as well (mostly rock on the heavier end of things).
I just read that the Plinius 8150 can be used as a preamp, as it has pre-out connections, and that the Leben has an input for the preamp which allows it to be used as a power amplifier, bypassing the source selector, volume control, etc etc.
What if I were to use the Plinius 8150 as preamp to Leben?!? Would this lead to atrocity? I'm also asking b/c I heard Plinius has a pretty good phono stage, and it would be nice if I can hold off purchasing a dedicated phono stage for a while & purchase a decent turntable straightaway instead.
While on vacation, I brought my R09 recorder to record in-flight audio and also record how my spanking new AudioTechnica ATH-ANC7 noise-cancelling headphones. The recordings are of rather high quality and available in lossless format without any filtering. The only processing on the files are fade-in and fade-out and also reducing the volume of some of the clicks resulting from turning the noise-cancelling unit on and off.

Hi, I have a Technics 1200 with a Grado blue cartridge. Im running into a Pioneer Elite receiver which has a phono input. Even though it has a phono input, the turntable is rather quiet. Any suggestions on how I can get this working better?
