Personally, I would like to see some Martin Logan loudspeaker.
Not the low end, maybe the middle, Vista, Vantage, and the high end Summit or the new out of reach$$$ CLX.

p.s. I would prefer Vista and Vantage over the others.

I like the idea of a screen on the remote instead of having to grab the glasses to read the display on the unit. Mine should be here next week.

After a little more reading, it looks like this DAC forces upsampling. I don't see a defeat switch. I can't understand why the designers would not include a means to turn upsampling off.

(303, 33) with two very nice Celestion speakers. The speakers work excellently with a modern marantz HiFi. Yet when connected to the Quad, often there is noise (not always) , especially when deep sounds are played, which sometimes disappears with tweaking the volumes on the input device and the amp. Does anyone have any tips for how to play music on the Quad without any noise, and without having to limit oneself to listening to very quiet music?
