Does anyone know whether Lipinski speakers are still in business? They are made in Warsaw, they are fabulous for the money (and beat the pants off many speakers many times their price) but the most recent information on the web is from 2007.....nothing from 2008.
Does anyone know if they are still actively in business?
Thanks for your help.
What don't this outfit "upgrade" into the best sounding this month? So now maybe the Garrard Zero 100 is the best arm next month? This company goes through upgrades, like bars of soap. Everything is a prototype, never gets it right?, and every update costs thousands.....only in audio, if this where products that need to work the best, in the first go round, he would probably have the FTC on his back. How do you justify all these rube goldberg setups, as upgrades?
Tried to post this earlier but don't see it on here...sorry if I'm double posting.
I live in China for the moment and am choosing between buying a solid state amp (likely a Dussun V8i) or a tube amp (Cayin, Jolida, Shengya?). I've auditioned a few and like several models.
Any advice for which way to lean? I listen to all types of music, jazz, classical, and some bass heavy styles like acid jazz/electronic, and even hip hop.
Hello,
I've been working on putting together an office system. The room is probably 15 x 12 with 10' ceilings.
Right now I'm using iTunes w apple lossless, a Cullen mod 4 PS Audio DL3, an Arcam A90, a pair of Paradigm Studio 20 v4s, and a Polk Audio PS-303 sub.
The sound is pretty good at moderate volume. (About 50 - 60% based on the Arcam volume meter...) But I'd like things to be more dynamic. Not just louder, but more enveloping and punchy. (When I turn it up it gets much louder but just starts hurting my ears...)
First post, but can't find good info on this searching on the net. Hopefully someone here can help.
I live in China and am building my 2nd system. I'll be in China for another 8 months or so and then moving to the US. I'd prefer to get a 110V amp, but options are limited.
If I buy a converter and buy the Korsun/Dusson V8i, what are (if any) the dangers/problems with using a converter?
My second choice in amp is the Classic 6.6 which I could get in 110V.
Thanks in advance!
