We have decided to ban DUP from the forums indefinitely. This was not an easy decision. It follows two previous bans -- the first was a one-month penalty, while the second lasted three months. While we admire DUP's passion, all too often his contributions resulted in negative distractions, the deterioration of threads, and the loss of members.
Whether DUP's viewpoints were right or wrong is an irrelevant consideration. The fact remains that his contributions here have been harmful to the growth of our forum. For that reason alone, we have banned him.
Mytek ADCs and DACs..yeah, they are thrilling(JA take note)

been a devotee for about 5 years now.The great sound and ease of use of these products is great. The designer, Michal, is an audiophile at heart and provides Chesky with gear, among others.. very smart guy. I was a former benchmark and grace user.. no more.
mytek really wiped the floor with those two.. they sound strident and lackluster in comparison. mytek costs less too..
there are some high res comparison files on the website..

Do they meet any industry standards for SAFETY, which is their prime function? Why not ASK magic fuse makers, that "sound" good. To what UL standard is it tested? http://us.ferrazshawmut.com/arcflash/reducing_arc_energies/current_limitation.cfm 
my classical collection is enormous, but I am looking to expand in all directions.
what titles do you have that you consider to the the best of the best, sound-wise??
looking for rock, jazz, alt country, anything.. amazing sound is the requirement.
CD/DVDA/SACD only, dont do vinyl.
