Hi everyone,
I just started putting together my first two channel system and its so exciting. I am a music major in my 4th semester of college studying music theory and composition. I thought it would be fitting to start listening to music in high quality since I am going to be perusing a career in music.
If you have some time to burn take a look at some of my work:
Just click on the "Sample Tracks" tab
*Let me know what you think...
Sorry for all the Noobie questions...
My system so far is:
NAD 1240 preamp
NAD 2400 amp
NAD 4225 tuner
I have a Realistic 10 band EQ hooked up between my preamp and amp. I really like the control I get over the sound with the EQ but it really boosts the signal coming from my preamp giving the volume control even less effective motion than it already has.
However, when I bypass the EQ I have to set the Bass on the preamp to almost nothing or it overpowers everything else.
I think they're laughing at us
Thank you for the review of the Power Plant Premier (PPP) on page 111. I'm glad that Mr.Deutsch liked what he heard.
Unfortunately, there was no Measurement section. The PPP is sold based on the premise that the PPP keeps electric voltage constant and that THD is reduced. Accordingly, one's system will then sound better.
