I'm a bit of a noob here, but I have a $2k budget for speakers. I don't really even know where to start looking. Can someone recommend me some models? I'll probably be pairing it with a Cambridge Audio 840A, or I may decide to go tube. I'm not sure yet. Can someone help me out? I want speakers that are "loud" and full range.
Here's the "planning stages" of my audio setup. All parts subject to change,

It was nice to read the follow up on the players from Ayre in the latest number!
However, it was a pity though that the follow up were not mentioning anything about the new upgrade "MP" that's about to come. At least when I saw the content page, I had these hopes at first that it should be around the MP-ugrade!?
This also since I read on the Stereophile CES-Blog that it should not be a "subtle" upgrade.
My Perpetual Technologies dac has lost a channel. Need something to replace it and old Pioneer PD65 transport. The Bryston and Cambridge seem to be well thought of for cdps. Considered Ayre, but it seems to be favored in balanced mode, which my system doesn't support. The Primaluna won't work with my Sonic Euphoria passive line stage. Have considered a SACD/CD player too. Only have two SACDs. Will get Perpetual fixed for back up. Hate trying to decide what will work in the system.
thanks
