Nothing in audio is ever perfect—or is it? If you have a weak link in your audio system, what is it and why?

i have a basic system that i bought about 6-7 years ago, Klipsch front and rear speakers, Yamaha receiver. i am currently using a POS Panasonic DVD player as a makeshift cd player, and it skips significantly on burned cds and sucks in general. would you all recommend a cd player to replace this that deals well with CD-Rs? i don't think my system is sophisticated enough to drop $500+ on a high-end cd player, and it looks like there aren't many single-disc players on the market nowadays. I see the NAD C515BEE CD Player retails for around $300, is this my best bet?

Not trying to start anything though I suspect there will be a few who do. This just caught my attention when I heard it. You don't know whether to laugh or bang your head against the wall.

Look's like the cat's out of the bag, the horse's out of the barn.
