Please if anybody from here have experience/posibility to here diferent models of accuphase cd/sacd players,tell me this:
I have actually the CD player DC-65V from Accuphase,and I will upgrade with a upper model lyke DP-67,or better Dp-77 .I am very interest if annybody can tell me the diference from the lower models,(55,65),and the DP-77/78 models.

Update #1:

As of 11/8/09 the NS-50 is being upgraded to the NS-60. This amp will be fully compatible with 6L6's and EL34's on up to 6550's and KT88's. Maximum wattage with the larger tubes will be 60 watts per channel. All other features remain the same and the appearance will not be affected, except for larger transformers.

So a few months ago I got a call from a guy in Louisville, Kentucky

asked if I'd contribute a track to benefit Teach for America. The
idea is that our generation of songwriters was "mentored" by those
who came before, and in this spirit we'd cover a track from some of
the greats of the sixties and seventies.

Recordings of Jerome Hines are scarce.Verdi Baritone Joseph Shore has a Tribute page that includes a link to a massive FTP database of Hines recordings/videos. They are mp3s, but my God..that voice. Please do yourself a favor and listen. The greatest bass that ever has lived.

I need a bad-assed Wotan..me being a bass and all, this is important to me.

I am sure this release has not escaped anyone's attention. The interesting aspect from my perspective was the inclusion of 24-bit 44.1 kHz FLAC files (alongside 320 kbps MP3 versions). Very irritating for those who like me already ordered the stereo boxed set on CD and were intending to rip the discs to FLAC anyway!

Speakers have dips in their impedance plot, some of them severe. These dips can create attenuations at the frequencies they appear at. A tube amplifier's feedback circuit will attempt to compensate for this, but it may degrade overall sound quality. I have found that using the 4-ohm tap will help compensate for impedance dips. This only works if the speakers' nominal impedance is 8 ohms. Power output will increase with a descending seen impedance (unless speakers go below 4 ohms) much like a solid state amplifier.
