Song for Tiger...

Change "mansion" to "single wide" and "private neighborhood" to "trailer park. Switch "Escalade" to "pick up truck," then "golf club" to "baseball bat" and you could have a new Carrie Underwood song on your hands!

The chicks he cheated with were cocktail/bar employees to begin with, so you don't even need to change that part!

I smell a 'hit' song!

Livin' In Paradise

Livin' In Paradise

I’d say on average that about 85 percent of the people I ask, hate Christmas music with an undying passion. I am one of a crazed minority who actually like the stuff and have long cultivated a collection of the stuff. Although I usually begin the season with the two volumes of Billboard Greatest Christmas Hits, both of which are now out of print (C’mon Rhino!), but are easily found used on Amazon, my general rule with Christmas music is: the weirder the better. And God knows when it comes to weird, Bob Dylan’s new collection of guttural holiday croakings is truly amazing.

Stereo Component Advice

Greetings to all,

I am looking for some help and suggestions about building a good sounding stereo system. I am currently running an Onkyo TX-SR706 with JBL Studio 36 speakers and a JBL 12' subwoofer. I am looking to replace the receiver, the main speakers, and hopefully the subwoofer as well.

Right now I can achieve very little bass response, and the sound is not precisely clear.

Focal Electra 1027 Be vs. PSB Synchrony Ones

I have a budget of about 5K and I am looking to replace the speakers I have. I am looking at either the Focal Electra 1027's or the PSB Synchrony one's. I listen to mostly electronica like Bjork, NIN, Portishead, etc. I also like classic rock like Neil Young, Journey, etc. I know these two things are on opposite sides of the spectrum but I would like to try to find something that will work pretty well for both.

Great bass would be nice but I really want something that images very well and has a very accurate sound.

To whom it may concern, some rather disturbing news

Experiment measures "speed" of the quantum non-local connection.

A 2008 quantum physics experiment performed in Geneva, Switzerland has determined that the "speed" of the quantum non-local connection (what Einstein called spooky action at a distance) has a minimum lower bound of 10,000 times the speed of light.
