Probably not your thing, but it's open to the public.
The Pope and Nancy Pelosi are on the same stage in Yankee Stadium in front of a huge crowd.
The Pope leans towards Mrs. Pelosi and said, "Do you know that with one little wave of my hand I can make every person in this crowd go wild with joy? This joy will not be a momentary display, but will go deep into their hearts and they'll forever speak of this day and rejoice!"
Pelosi replied, "I seriously doubt that. With one little wave of your hand? Show me!"
So the Pope backhanded the bitch.
Anybody who listened to a lot of jazz in the 80s knows the Black Saint-Soul Note labels. The Jazz Loft now lists four boxed sets which - it says - are remasters and only the first in a series.
Henry Threadgill, who is also going to be the subject of an upcoming Mosaic box, gets one which includes both Air and solo work.
Charlie Haden gets a box that includes the first Old & New Dreams and one of the great albums of the 80s, 'Etudes,' with Gerri Allen.
Here is a link to record shows. I will be going to the one in atlanta on April 10.

New Straits TimesKUALA LUMPUR: A rose may stop smelling like a rose.
I posted before about receiving about 150 grungy albums and cleaning them with soap & water before I'd even let them touch my 'table. So, to keep them in some order, I stacked about 15 or 20 on each speaker on their sides, not on edge as they should be (my Snell B Minors are on casters) and lo and behold, the overall sound has improved. Seems tighter and more detailed. Maybe less cabinet movement and more floor coupling??
