If the NFL were the Democrat Party, Wade Phillips would still be coach.

A nearly 65 seat loss in the election and Nancy Pelosi climbs out of the wreckage and says, "I blame the defective brakes, steering, and handling of this vehicle, as well as the defective construction of the roadway. This wreck is not of my own doing and I demand to be put behind the wheel of the minority party bus."

Good for you red party guys!

Kudos to John Marks

Kudos to John Marks for his recent editorials -- one on the importance of data density and a second raising concerns about spectator sports.

I took John's advice and constructed my own demonstration disk using PCM 24/96 downloads from ITRAX and compressed mp3 downloads from ITRAX and from ITUNES. I selected tracks that I already own on an original, hard copy DVD-Audio disk.

So I was able to compare:

Bored to Death

Went through the "Bored to Death" DVD's and gotta say....I thought it was terrific.

Ted Danson just KILLS, and I like Jason Schwartzman for some goofy reason.

"Bored to Death" reminds me of a Wes Anderson movie....and (the real) Jonathan Ames is a funny guy.

Knowing that Talia Shire is Jason Schwartzman's mom will come in handy in the season finale.

Two thumbs up.

Joined the club....

After ages at the local club trying to figure it all out, and taking the wife for auditions....bought a gun.

Had to find one that's legal in Cali and Nevada (Nevada is not the problem, let me assure you.) It/they is/are going to be the Beretta PX4 Storm (midsize, or "compact," but not the little one) for our 9mm and a Kimber Custom TLR RL II with a rail for the .45.

I just know once we start using one gun every time, my wife is going to leave me in the dirt at accuracy....she's as good as I am now and her technique is perfect. She is really a fine shooter.
