Rush Fans!

If anyone here appreciates the value of great music you might want to check out the new dvd set of Rush! They are an amazing band! I've grown up with their music and they have got to be one of best bands out there. I just got the dvd set from a friend at umvd and the quality is amazing! All shot in hi-def. tv, the sets have the live concert in Frankfurt and some of their classic concert footage from the 70's! Check it out if you're interested and let me know what you think,

speaker sugguestions

I have got a Kenwood,700M power amp. with a 700C stereo control amp,and a sansui tuner T-80. Got the unit hooked up to a set of Pioneer S-910 speakers. Thinking of hooking up the Pioneers to my Sansui reciever G-8000. Question is, being that the amp,pre-amp kicks out unheard of sound. (and without getting a 2ed morgage on the house.) What would be the best speaker set-up to get for this unit??? also, got the amp,pre amp and tuner for only 150 bucks and I mean EVERYTHING works. and theres a LOT there to play with. Did I pay to much for this?? what do these things go for about.

How to amplify more than 2 speakers not used for surround

Forums

Hi,
I apoligize if this is sounds obvious but I am as they say a newbie.

I am trying to amplify two rooms seperately.
One room has six speakers but I do not need them to be in surround. They will be just for music in a cafe.

the second room will be a screening room where tv, movies, music, presentations and functions will happen. this room will have 10 speakers.

my question simply is how to run this setup? how many amps? a preamp? or just a receiver?
