Speaker systems sold direct reviewed by Stereophile?

Forums

Tyler Acoustics. Outlaw Audio. Axiom. These are but a few of the many companies who sell their products direct to the customer. I think it would be a great idea for Stereophile to start performing reviews on these and other web-based company's speaker systems. Indeed, maybe Stereophile should even consider dedicating an entire issue to those companies who exclusively sell their wares (including electronics) directly to the consumer.

That just doesn't sound right, Michael.

Art Dudley, commenting on the beautiful lyric to "I Remember You", points out that the words sound right and opines that writing such lyrics can't be taught. His point would seem to be that one either knows what "sounds right" or one doesn't. I hope he's wrong, because some teaching appears to be needed.

A few pages earlier in Michael Fremer's coverage of HE 2006 I encountered the phrase, "...for Ken Kessler and I to compete...". For I to compete? How about, "for Ken and ME to compete"? Not only is that correct, IT SOUNDS RIGHT.

Now That's Art!

My buddy Jon Iverson is cuckoo for car shows and has regaled me for hours with his photos of awesome rides (it's a California thing). I've always admired the artistry, but it never occurred to me that so much of the incredible pin stripe art was free hand.
