Hey everyone,
I am new to the speaker scene. I have a couple questions. First I currently own a pair of yamaha ns 333 (bookshelf). I wanted to know how these stack up to other bookshelves. I am looking into buying the wharfedale diamond 8.1 and putting the yamahas into my bedroom. What do you think is better the yamahas or wharfedales. Also on these speakers I have to purchases a receiver. Which is better the marantz SR 3001 or yamah RX-V659. Also the marantz sr 4001 may be a possiblity. Hoe does this stack up to the yamha rx-v659? Thanks
I have a pair of rare Hales Transcendence One speakers which I love, maybe my favorite speaker ever. My cat jumped up on one of the and it fell off it's stand. The cabinet got chipped on one corner and the metal frame got slightly bent. Is there anywhere that you know of to get this repaired. It still works fine but I would love to have them correct. I can't be without my Hales? I have looked all over online with no luck. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Bush once said you were either with him or against him in the war against evil.
The same seems to be said for the Motion Picture Association of America when it comes to the subject of piracy.
A reactionary bunch, of that there is no doubt.
But a powerful bunch, nonetheless with powerful friends who have enough influence on our lives that we cannot play any DVD that we want to in the players that we buy with our hard earned cash.
Here we have a very real situation where corporate profits rule over individual freedom.
I will be writing more about this neat, little $80 24/96 firewire device over the next few days as I do some recording with it. Cheapskate is not the only one who looks for a bargain, you know. And yes, his Marantx SA 11 is a bargain considering what it does. Headphone output control on the front panel of this little 6" x 4.5" x 1" tall device makes this a truly user friendly. Your boss will never see it!
