Currently I have a Klipsch 4.1 speaker system in my office which is where I play the majority of my music from. I'd like to run a second/independent set of 2.1 speakers to the living room from the same PC.
Is there a switch box or "selector" box available that will allow me to select between SetA, SetB or Both?
Wow, only one other post so far this month.
Well, never mind the tumble weeds!
I've been trying to get a solid handle on a new disc...Tim O'Reagan's eponymous "debut" solo disc.
Tim O'Regan has been the drummer for The Jayhawks (now defunct?) since 1995.
Last year, he released a solo disc, with lots of friendly support from people like Gary Louris, Karen Grotberg, Marc Perlman, Mark Olson...so, really kind of a Jayhawks disc!
Also, as a Son Volt fan, I was happy to hear Jim Boquist, too.
WWWWWOOOOOWWWWWW!!! These phones are great! So neutral, clean, tight bass, and I have only heard them on my iPod. I ordered a Val E10 amp that should be here by the 22nd. It's all I could afford. I hope I'll get decent power from that. I really never imagined how good really good headphones could sound. The sound stage is immense compared to my Etymotics. I'm just worried about this amp, cause it's going to have to last me a while. The output is 300mW at 100 ohms. What do you all think? I got it for $270.00 shipped.
Hello,
Has any one heard the MA RS6 and 21L side by side? I have a small stable of different speakers, but so far the Quads seem the must enjoyable in my small room.
I was wondering if the bass would be too strong from the RS6. The Quad 21L sounds much better to me than the 22L, it's not as boomy in the bass in a smaller room, yet has the fuller sound than the 12L without giving up too much detail.
Okay, I'm new to the forum, but I'm a long time audiophile. Considering my 10 years of carefully piecing together my digital system, I recently added a new turntable and started the whole new world of analog sound. To my surprise, I could not believe the difference. Even with an entry level turntable, crappy cables, and a mediocre phono stage amp, I had excellent sound. Since then I've upgraded to all class B analog components--a VPI scout, musical fidelity phonostage amp, and sumiko blue point special cartridge.
