JA, Whats with all of the chopped up articles and reviews in this month's issue. It looks like someone on the layout staff was watching too much late night television, and bought one of those miracle cutting devices.

So i just bought a condo and already I'm getting complaints from neighbors that my music is too loud. I, of course, completely disagree with that, but to avoid fines I have to do something. Hey, guys. I'm shopping for a nice entry-level amplifier to drive my Paradigm 7se's. I'm considering the NAD C325BEE, Rega Brio3 and Rotel RA-1062. I'm on a tight budget (college student). My requirements are basic. I need a MM phono stage and would prefer a headphone jack (which the Rega lacks). If I got the NAD, I'd be purchasing it along with the PP-2 phono preamp. The C325BEE, PP-2 and a decent pair of interconnects for the PP-2 would run $550 plus tax.

Hey, folks! I feel compelled to share this. For the past several months, I've been aware of a strange rolling and rattling sound when I tip my right floorstander forward and back. Until tonight, I was hesitant to do anything because I didn't want to work on the speaker myself. Well, I finally took the initiative and removed the woofer so I could reach in and investigate. To my astonishment (and amusement), I extracted four (!!) foosballs from the bottom of the cabinet. My little cousins (4 and 6) love to play in the basement and I must have carelessly left the grill off one day.

I have a terrible radio signal coming from my rear channel speakers (that I think is called RFI). It has been basically impossible to get rid of this noise. I have a great system (NAD receiver, JM Lab speakers), so it's very, very doubtful it's the equipment. Here's my question ... my rear speaker cable runs right along side the cable for the cable T.V. Could this be the problem? Should I try to separate the cables? Any other thoughts? Do "power conditioners" help? If so, which ones? Monster? Thanks!!!
