I stumbled upon this while reading PF and I couldn't help but compare this to the great religeous schism, that broke apart the Roman Catholic Church.Looking at it this way, anyone who even remotely adheres to any of Belt's philosophy is fair game to be burned at the stake by those of the one true faith, let's call them the scientists for want of better terminology. But aren't scientists supposed to have inquiring minds that are open to new discoveries?
I couldn't think of a better place to post this considering my question concerns storage of digital media...
Earlier today, when dusting and cleaning the area around my stereo setup, a mini-disaster occurred... when attemping to move the relatively cheap CD bookshelf I own, filled with several hundred discs, the screws and wooden pegs that held the sides to the top shelf came apart, leaving the majority of my collection on the floor.
I came across my dad's old Kenwood Basic M2A system yesterday and was listening to the tuner for a while. I wanted to try plugging the DVD player into it when it died. Now the main amp doesn't want to switch on anymore. When I try to turn on the power, the power light just doesn't stop blinking.
Need your help. Thank you.
I went to the Dark Side today off the "Phile" news page and downloaded MSO Saint Sans Symphony #3. 80+ megs in about 8 minutes for all of $5.99. It would have cost me more than that to drive to my nearest outlet...and if they had it, paid even more.
The Binaural sound is excellent. Even as I listen through my $80 Firewire Behringer FCA 202 I cannot complain about the fidelity...I have symphonic CDs that sound worse for sure.
Viewing it on my waveform editors in Sony SoundForge or WavePad it is nice to see the dynamic range left intact.
Hi
Anyone got experience of this brand ?
They seem to be internet only but they get very good reviews on customer service sights
Any thoughts
Steve
