i am considering replacing my current amp(NAD C320BEE). i'm looking at NAD C272/C162 and Parasound A23/P3. unfortunately, i can't audition these at this time but would appreciate any advice. i have Monitor Audio RS6's and an Integra CDC 3.4 as my system.
since i do like the C320BEE, i was also considering the NAD C372. however, when researching an integrated amp vs an amp/pre-amp combination, seperate components seem to be favored. any comments,recommendations or other product suggestions with regard to any of these products would be helpful. thanks

I've noticed that Stereophile print ink doesn't smudge like some other mags. Some magazines i read get ink sludged from handling...I like my pages to stay clean. 1 for the printers at Stereophile, good ink that sticks to the paper. Is it GREEN, enviormentally friendly and all that hoopla? On MARS thousands of years ago, they used bad ink, look what happened to life on MARS....INK MATTERS

Me thinks there is some misinformation. Claims of an industry first? For a mere 250V/uS slew rate....check out some AVA stuff Omegastar EX ckts are up around 800V/uS now, from the previous slower 600V/uS www.avahifi.com And all this Mosfet mist blather. AVA uses modern MOSFETS from Exicon more linear, FAST etc. Me thinks did B& K get an AVA amp and decide this is how amp ckts should be done, done right. Why do you review Luminiance, a NEW brand yet continue to ignore a well established 35 year old brand like AVA?

While picking components seem to mainly subjective I would lile to see Stereophile run an article with recommended systems at different price points..say starting at $2500 and up. I am sure it would invite a lot of feedback here on the board and I would love to see what ST comes up with?

With tests from teh creator. Shouldn't stereophile have a complete set of these tests disc to run the players through lab tests..let's see how those $45K or $15K or $23K players do, are they worth anywhere near what is asked for in pricing? Or will a $1,000 unit work as well.
