Does anybody have experience with Mirage Omni line of speakers? If anyone does, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Maybe even comments on the Mirage brand in general.

My media room is 37 ft by 14 ft with 3 tiers at 18 ft and 25 ft. I am planing on a INfocus projector IN82 that will project a 155 inch diagonal picture.
I need to buy a receiver and speakers to fit the room. I will use it mostly for movies and music video and sports tv.

My budget is $4,500 to $5,000.

I have returned to separates for two-channel for the first time in a long time and an old question has come up again. That is, since my pre-amp has no switched outlets (and they probably would not be heavy-duty enough anyway), what is the best way to manage turning the power amp off and on. Just leave it on all the time? I'm not against doing that but it seems to generate a lot of heat even when idling. The pre does have 12-Volt triggers, but there is nothing on the power amp to connect them to.

Just played my copy of "Ray Sings, Basie Swings" for the first time. Pureaudiophile and Concord have produced an absolute winner.
