I've been listening to some records last night and suddenly the everything I play has a lot of static and is skipping a bunch (like on a scratched CD).

I have check all the connections and ground wire. How do I fix this?

Does anyone know how Netgear EVA8000 compare to the Sqeezebox if it's to be used with an external DAC? I would assume it's six of one, half a dozen of the other. Am I correct? Any opinions?

These have to be some of the best deals in audio right now. You can find new-in-box or used DV-9500s/9600s for $450-$500 on ebay and Audiogon. These players listed for $2000. Their audio performance is superb and that is well-documented.
A used DV-8400 just sold for $260 on ebay. ($1400 new) Amazing!
I'm not sure if this is happening with other brands as well, but these gems just caught my eye.
If you're on a Toyota budget but wouldn't mind having a Lexus for the same money, check these out!
