Distribution and format chaos may reign, but the music prevails. What is your pick for new album of 2009 (no reissues please)?
I installed a Sony DVD burner in my Dell Laptop and then installed Audio DVD creator per TaterBones recommendations and wha la...2496 music on +R media just like he promised. Saved them as WAV 2496 pcm. The software is $40. The Sony burner cost me $60.
I am using an Echo Indigo 2496 IO card (driver 7.3) for recording and the sound is very good and played first time in my Sony 755 DVD/SACD player. The 2 tracks I burned played great. Not a single hitch. but, this is only a short test run.
Bargemusic, tonight (8:00PM) and tomorrow afternoon (3:00PM). $35 regular admission each recital.
JA, Jerry Bruck, and I will be in attendance Sunday.

Hi everyone,
My first post, but long time lurker. I am interested in buying a Sony STRDH800 AV receiver, and at the moment I have a pair of M-Audio AV30 speakers. Now I am a complete novice, and I really don't understand connections and such like, but I will try to explain what the speakers are like and what I want to know if I can do.
The speakers are mains powered, and the left hand speaker has a built in amp and power supply, and is then fed to the right speaker by some speaker wire. The inputs to the speaker are red and white RCA phono plugs.
