Suggestions for a good (moveable) college system

Hi,

I'm a college student; I don't know much about hi-fi, but I know my dad has two PSB Image T65 towers and a harmon-kardon receiver at his house, and I know I loved the clean and crisp sound. My $50 computer speakers are causing me to miss that setup a lot. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for a system which would come pretty close to the sound quality of my dad's system, but would be easier to move around (I live in a dorm). I don't know if I can afford this, but I just wanted to get an idea of what's out there and how much it would cost.

Thanks,

Upgrading from Rega P5/Dynavector 20XH

Hello,

I've been using the Rega P5 / Dynavector 20X High Output MC for quite a while and really like the sound. I would like to upgrade my cartridge (to a low output MC?) or upgrade the entire turntable if that's going to materially enhance the sound relative to upgrading only the cartridge. For the cartridge, I am willing to spend up to $2K, for the TT (maybe) all the way to $10K. I am curious about what my options are and the relative increase in sound quality versus the money spent. I listen to pop/rock and jazz. Many thanks.

Injected fruit juice liquifies cancer

Dr Gordon said a single dose injection of the extract, known as EBC-46, had been effective in 50 critically ill dogs and about a dozen cats and horses.

"This is proving to be something exceptional," she said.

"The tumour literally liquefies.

"There is a rapid knock-down of the tumour, it disintegrates within 24 hours and we have a rapid healing response.

"The biggest tumour we treated was the size of a Coke can in a dog, and that animal is fully healed and healthy."
