I read about this little gadget in one of the recent issues and decided to give it a go. I figured that using my laptop as a juke box would be a fun idea, so I ripped my CD's to an external HDD in Apple Lossless and then off to the new local Apple store. The guy at the store really had no idea what I was talking about.

I am looking for new speakers and have listened to the B&W's (liked the 602's w/sub better than 603's but not as well as 604's) and the Paradigm studio 40's. I would love to hear some other suggestions.

Great article on Susan Tedeschi! Perhaps Mrs. Derek Trucks was unable to comment on her husband's upcoming "high profile gig in 2006," but I certainly have no such constraints (it's all over the Allman Bros. message board, among others):

25 year old slide guitar master Derek Trucks will team up with Eric Clapton for an updated version of Derek & The Dominos in 2006. Apparently an album's worth of material is already in the can. Looks like a full tour is in the works!
