Greetings stereophiles!
Just out of curiosity: what are you using for your cd to preamp/receiver connection: Digital coax or analog cables? How does it matter to you?

I am in the process of replacing my current speakers. I have narrowed the choices to:
Avalon Eidolon Diamond
MartinLogan Summit
B&W 800D
Any thoughts/recommendations?

hi im looking for surround sound speakers
that will sound good for movies and music.
as most surround speakers sound good with movies
but suck with music. im looking for somthing
that can give me the best of both worlds
as both are important to me.. front mains must
be full towers. and the rest is fair game.

I've only recently become smitten with Classical music, in part due to some recent upgrades to my system, but also due to aging and a desire for more relaxing enjoyment of my time at home.

I am fortunate to have one of the best radio stations in the country for this type of music, both in high quality broadcasting and 24/7 non-commercial access.

While surfing their site KMFA Austin I ran across another link that I thought I would share with those of you that appreciate well recorded music of this type.
