hi, can anyone tell me if they have tried pairing the paradigm mini monitors with theyr cc-170 center channel, is it to small ? would that vs cc-370 center make THAT much difference? =)

Excellent forum everyone. This is my first post. I recently purchaded a Denon 3806 as part of a HT set up and am very happy with the unit. As I am reading the manual and playing with the settings to learn I noticed that when I play music if I select DTS neo 6 I get a certain sound, I get a slightly different one when switching to the Dolby setting, and yet a different sound (louder also) when I press the button marked 7ch. I am confused as to why I hear something different for each setting. Can someone please help me understand this. Thank you in advance.

I have an early 80's pair of SS-U560's. They're great. But since they're getting up there in age, I was wondering if I can treat them to protect from getting dried out, etc. Can a substance be applied to speaker surrounds/cones to keep them in good shape and prevent drying out?
