I am looking to purchase 2 amps to use as monoblocks but can't audition the ones I am interested in because they are used and generally only available through the internet so would greatly appreciate it if anyone can tell me the following:
1. is Adcom a good quality brand. I am specifically looking at the GFA 555 or GFA 5500. One is MOSFET one is not. 2. as far as the other brands I am looking at the Carver TMF 45. For the other brands mentioned I am not sure which models are comparable to the Adcoms. Thank you
In FilmMaker, Scott Macauley has written a spirited preview/interview of Richard Linklater's A Scanner Darkly, which he says is the first faithful film based on a Philip K. Dick novel. I hope so, because the early trailer I saw had an overly-rotoscoped look that I didn't simply hate, I detested. Macauley makes me want to see the movie anyway.
Yes you read the message subject correctly. It does say "Home Brewed DVD-Audio Discs" and believe it or not, it is actually possible to make your very own DVD-Audio discs at home using the DVD burner in your computer.
