Hi
I'm using an Cambridge Audio Azur 840 integrated, which seems to be doing fine, but I have upgrade-itis. I don't necessarily want to spend more than I did on the Azur 840 (ca. 1500, or maybe it was less), but I'm open to suggestions.

Lowest Note?

I am not very happy to report this, but it seems there is a slight difference with and without a reef knot on my Vincent XLR IC's

I can't be that sure, but it is like the high treble is a tad bit smoother and more natural with a reef knot on the interconnects. May? Anyone?

After having upgraded with a new power cable on my CDP and sub, I tried measuring the exact distance from the CDP (in the center of my soundstage) to the left and right speaker respectively. They didn't stand in the exact same distance, and I had wondered why my soundstage was a little skewed. Only an inch too much distance with the left speaker did all the difference! When I moved the speaker so they were both in the exact same distance (to a fraction of an centimeter) the soundstage came just right.

I made a copy of Mark Knopfler's "Kill to get crimson", a CD I know well, and with a great sound quality.
