Thanks for the link. Of course the good news on Exile is a great recording widely available in whatever format you prefer. The link, however, provides an interesting question of which is funnier:
1- Someone as bright as Mick being interviewed by a colossal dimwit who doesn't understand that stupid questions produce dull interviews.
2- The supposed contribution of the background stuff in the CNN piece to the appeal of the recording. I guess it's the same school of thought that suggests you need to be intimately aware of the story behind The Magic Flute to appreciate Mozart's music.
If I get your drift, the CNN background stuff to which you refer addresses the accompanying DVD's content.
What was that Mick said about 'critics'?

And in that interview, Mick said it better than I could, "In the end, it's music, and if it holds up, it holds up." And it certainly has held up.
