Should I Get A Paradigm Sub That Isn't Really In The Market Yet?

Nobody can tell you if something is better or worse without having heard it. Obviously, your dealer hasn't heard the new sub. Hence, his words emanate from the depths of his gluteus maximus. The new sub may be better, it may be worse or it may be the same. Nobody knows until it comes out. One thing that is more likely than anything else is that the new sub will be more expensive than the one currently available.

My advice: If you've heard the "old" sub and you like it, get it.

I ended up going with the DSP3200 anyway. I am impressed with it's performance (but, its also my first household subwoofer). At first I wasn't too overly impressed but once I broke it in and found the sweet spot for it I found it to be great. The bass is loud and clear without any distortion. I'd recommend this subwoofer to anyone.

On my last post I said it had 700 watts peak... it really has 900 watts peak

My advice would be to get a REL sub.
