Cheap, chearful and get the job done. You can go wrong with any of their range.
Audiophile 2496 or Audiophile 192 if you want pci. The 192 is much better but closer to $200.
If you want firewire.
Firewire Audiophile - infact I'm thinking about buying one of those myself!
These provide more than you need. Great DACs, good ACDs (just incase you fancy doing some home recording in the future), have 100% working drivers and support that actually wants to help you.
You cant really go wrong!
PS I have a 2496 and 2 of their midi interfaces.
You'll find links to several PC sound cards that were reviewed in Stereophile.

I think the Card Deluxe would be my choice, or maybe a firewire device.
What about the Delta 1010LT? I don't really understand much technically (but SO MUCH musically!); this seems very good to me, and I can afford to buy it.
Then, after buying a sound card, I should also look for some proper speakers, even though I could keep using my headphones...
Then, which one would be better: this or the Card Deluxe?
for the moment I have thought about a solution:
M-Audio Delta 1010LT
plus
M-Audio BX5a monitors
Would it be good? HOW good would it be?
Could I just get the two of them, plug the sound card to my computer and the speakers to the sound card or would I need something else?
THANK YOU!
