That would probably be because there are very few dealers in the USA where you can buy them or listen to them.
^^^ I think they are a lot fewer Dealers selling these speakers because they sound as good as those very very high priced speakers and they wouldn't be able to sell those high priced speakers if they stocked these latest Yamaha Soavo speakers too!....
If you remembered a lot Dealers sold the other generations of these Yamaha Soavo speakers because they sounded like sh*t!.. They were Magazine Reviewers here that reviewed pasted generation Soavo speakers too BUT WHY NO REVIEWS with these new generation Soavo speakers???
These speakers are $2500 per pair from Amazon, and you are speaking as if they were NOT high-priced??? What do you call low-priced?

You sound like someone who works for Yamaha.
I'm not connected with this product in any way. These speakers are far from being cheap but they might just be the cheapest speakers on the market right now to beat out the TAD R-1's in sound !
I bet when these Yamaha go on closeout these speakers will be pretty cheap then!..
