Apparently the decision has been made to try Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab in civilian court instead of treating him as the military captive that he is. We have someone in our possession with intimate, recent knowledge of al-Qaida plans and training methods and the very first thing we do is tell him "You have the right to remain SILENT"???????
