I would suggest that you get the Marantz AV7702 Preamp/Processor and use that with the Parasound amplifier.

That should be a major improvement.

Then you will be able to get rid if those Monster interconnects (ugh) and used balanced interconnects between the processor and amplifier. Balanced interconnects are much better and very inexpensive.
