I was hanging out at one of the wine forums and there was a topic asking what Hi Fi gear people had.
There was a reasonable response, but I came across this one, and it bummed me out:
"I used to be really into audio and had an all-Linn hardware system with Nordost cables:
- Unidisk 2.1
- Exotik preamp
- LK140 power
- Ninka loudspeakers
- Nordost Flatline MK II speaker cable (bi-wired)
- Nordost Baldur interconnects
Sold it all and now have a Bose 3-2-1 system that is much easier for the wife to operate. Believe it or not, I'm actually getting much more enjoyment from the Bose system because I use it more (especially for watching the Sox on TV)."
OUCH!
We are definitely up against it on the mass market front, I guess.
