TAS review $40K player, another absurdity, with multiple chassis. at least the guy said it ain't worth the $40K, BUT the ever present, well you don't get the full performance unless you use these $6,000 worth of wires!!! Yupper, now i get it, the wire scammers are hitting up the makers of absurldy priced components, and getting them to go along with the idea, that in order to realize the "true" potential of this absurdly grossly overpriced box of CD drive and a few chips with a transformer, you should get the wire mentioned. Interestingly, the reviewer, knew someone who just happened to to have the absolute correct bunch of wires. One minuet he claims it makes trouble having all these connections, BUT if you use these wires, that is not an issue. Yupper, TAS is in the same game on wire pushers. Like other publications. $40K Wadia, from a company that went pooof a while ago. claimed to be the ultimate...? www.emmlabs.com has theirs that upsamples CD to 2X SACD over 5 mghz!!! Ain't that the ultimate, Meitner was involved in DSD SACD, wouldn't he know more about doing it, than these wannabees with companies that leave and come back? AND the EMMLABS is ONLY $10K 1/4 the price of a CD only player from Wadia, what the heck is a Wadia anyway? A beakless, wingless an extinct bird?
