Soon I will be getting back my rebuilt Dynavector 10x5 cartridge that will be re-tipped with Soundsmith's nude contact stylus on their ruby cantilever. I understand that the VTA adjustment on my Premier FT-3 tonearm will be more critical then when the cartridge had the original elliptical stylus.
Does anybody have practical experience setting up the 91 or 92 degree rake angle using a digital microscope? I found a Dino Lite scope on Amazon for $150 and was wondering if this is an investment well spent or should just resort to the trail and error method of just listening to known music.
