The VPI would be very good.
Why do you want to replace the current turntable?
Your reason for doing so would make it easier to recommend.
I have the Music Hall MMF-7, which is excellent.
I suggest that you get a turntable that has the motor totally isolated from the turntable itself (like the MMF-7). This is a good design factor IMO.
Actually, you might want to just put the money into a better cartridge for your current turntable, unless there is a major issue that you have with the turntable itself.
Thank you for your interesting thoughts and suggestion. The emotion is a moderate turntable.I do not think that it can get better cartridge. Yesterday, I listened a Cleraudio Performance dc turntable with new Tracer tonearm & Charisma MM cartridge and i was very impressed. Sounded with great dynamics and wonderful clarity. The confusion grew because there are now three players.I was not impressed the body of music. My confusion grew because there are now three players. It' a brain teaser!!!
