hello everybody i am new to this forum and wish to get some help from u audio experts ...
i purchased a velodyne CHT 12q subwoofer .
i noticed since i connected the sub to the amp that each time i touch the metal body of the amp when i am barefoot i get a strong electrical current throgh my fingers.
also this is the case each time i try to reach the on/off swich of the DAC which also connected to the amp. it is really strong current that i can't touch any metal thing connected to the amp including the amp itself.
this phenomen disappears each time i unplug the velodyne sub from electricity or when i am wearing shoes. !!
what is the problem? i am afraid the sub this way will damage the my amp or other components connected to it !
pleasee help with that , what is wrong with the sub?
my settings are , amp - TECHNICS sa-pg690, ARCAM rDAC, B&W 685, chord crimson plus interconnect and chord carnival silver screen.
thank you .
