Hello folks,
Looking to upgrade my 15+ year old Bose Acoustimass system. I have a medium-large family room, but not much space to work with for speakers. I was looking at Bowers & Wilkins, and most likely upgrade the receiver as well to a Wi-Fi / Bluetooth capable unit. Probably the Denon AVR S730H. Music played will mostly be from iPod. Music/Movie percentage would be 75/25.
I Have the following questions:

• How do the Bose cube speakers compare to the B&W MT60’s.
• If I got one of the floor stand model’s like the 686-S2 (if they’ll fit in my location) would I still need a sub?
• Also, concerned about the wattage output of the Denon receiver. I believe it’s rated at 165W and the speakers are rated at 100W. Concerns there?
• Also, are speakers where you want to put the most money at?
• Budget is around 2.5K for both receiver & speakers

Sorry, I’m a music lover, but been out of the latest audiophile seen, so I need to be re-schooled again. Any suggestions would be welcome!
Thank you!
