I am the happy owner of a Sansui AU-719, but lately I have been craving for a higher-end amplifier.
In particular, I d'like more detail and cleanliness (the mid range sometimes sounds tiring to my ears) and the ability to drive 4 Ohm loudspeakers (ADS 1230) at higher volume without too much distortion or losing control of the woofers.
My budget is around 1000$, anyone has a suggestion for any good used integrated?
BTW. The sound chain at the moment is: Metrum Acoustics Octave DAC, Schiit LYR 2 pre-amp, Sansui AU-719 amp, ADS-1230 speakers
