I am new to the forum and looking for some advice. I am wanting to get back into vinyl playback after about a 20 year break. My Stereo equipment was stolen 20 years ago and I had just moved to a new city so replacing wasn't really an option etc etc...
My Question is, I have 2 turntable that I have acquired over the last couple of years, an AR XA and a Philips 312.I have about 400 budget for Turntables at the moment.Am I better off buying one of the new Entry level TT, like the Project Debut,The Rega, The MusicHall etc.... or am I better putting that money into either the AR or the Philips..cartridge etc? Both tables are in good shape and I have no doubt they are very usable.
I would greatly appreciate any info on this.I am just not sure of the quality of the vinatge TT versus the New entry level units.
