Your AVR has neither line-level analog outputs nor digital outputs for audio. As a result, you would need devices to (1) convert the L/R speaker outputs to line level, (2) transmit the L/R wirelessly, (3) receive the L/R wirelessly and (4) amplify the line-level L/R to run the speakers. Items 3 and 4 can be combined in a single device. If you are using 5.1, multiply the above by 3.

Not practical with current components, IMHO.

Thanks, Kal. I figured it was a bit of a long shot, but thought I'd check. May go the speaker wire route until such time as I can afford an upgrade.

You can buy flat speaker wire for under-carpet routing, if that helps.

Yes, I think this might be the easiest option until upgrade. Thanks for the input, Kal. Much appreciated.

I m not sure that a flat speaker wire would help here

I do not know the OP's motivation for wanting to "lose the sires" but flat speaker wire can run under carpets and, thus, eliminate routing along the walls and avoid interruptions for doorways, etc. The result is neater and with shorter runs across the room.

I do not understand what this is asking.
