I have been looking around for a place to modify (and hopefully, improve) my Audio Innovations Model 1000 tube monoblocks.

I ran across a local fellow who, on his website, quotes a positive endorsement from Art Dudley. I took him at his word and dropped the amps off last Thursday. His name is Blackie Pagano (dba "Tubesville").

Art, do you know this fellow? He seemed like a delightful guy, talking to him briefly as I did. In his apartment, he has a large aquarium -- filled with tubes, not fish. My kind of guy.

One of the amps is broken, and I am sure Blackie will be able to fix it. But I still wonder about the mods...

Anybody else out there have experience with tube power amp mods?
