Hello everyone, first post here. I'm trying to find my way through a turntable upgrade, and I'm hoping that you can help.
I've got an old Technics SL-QD35. I know, I know, not a fantastic piece of work. I don't have a lot of money to work with; $300 is really the top end of what I can do right now. I've looked at the AT-LP120, the Pro-ject Debut III, and the Denon DP-300f.
My main quesiton is this: would I be better off getting a nice carteridge for my Technics, or should I go for a whole new table?
Secondary question: If a new table is going to be better than the Technics regardless of its cart, which of the above would you go for?
