Hey, I'm new to good sound and so thus far, still looking. I have a pair of Amphion Argon 2's and a Yamaha RX V559 with a Yamaha NS-SW210 sub. I seem to have to crank up the volume to get these speakers to go LOUD. I've been listening to music from laptop with a Philips bluetooth device connected to the amp but the highs seem slightly crackly. I did a bit fo seaching and found out about DACs. Seems like it would solve my problems...
Since I don't have a TV and will be using my setup for music only, mostly streaming from Spotify. I fugure I should look at an intergrated amp althought it would be nice if it had a sub out and bluetooth capable.
My question is, if I buy a good intergrated amp like say Cambridge Audio Azur 651A (available used for 300€) do I need a DAC aswell? It seems hard to find an integrated amp with a sub out... Or should I stay with my Yamaha AVR and get a DAC?
Budget is fairly tight and would like to buy used. Thanks for you help!
