Hello guys! In my entire life I’ve been always using in-build speakers in any device I used. Right now I decided to fix my mistakes and try to hear the sound the way it is supposed to be. I am a big movie fan so I decided to buy a home theater for my self. I bought an Onkyo HT-S9800THX. It was affordable for me and I decided to get into an “entry-level” with that.
Right now the devices I have are: Samsung Q70R TV(which doesn’t support DTS:X sadly), PS4, two hdmi 2.0 cables, bunch of 1.4 and the afore mentioned Receiver + speakers. I watch movies using the USB on my TV in BDRemux with Dolby Atmos audio codec.
My question is: how do i connect all these devices together to get the best audio/video quality possible? Do I need other cables or anything else?
I am also planning to listen to music through airplay on the receiver
