Just for the heck of it:
Thinking two channel Hi Fi....and shopping new via retail (on sale is OK, but not secondary market.)
1) Speakers at or under 3K per pair.
2) Speakers at or under 6K per pair.
3) Speakers at or under 13K per pair.
If you have anecdotes or whies and wherefores to go with it, all the better!
I ask because I was "window shopping" at different sites purely for fun and some stuff struck me as not too crazy....
I don't have an answer of my own yet.
Maybe....Magnepan 20.1 in the 13K and under slot? The new Focal 30th Anniversay in the 3K and under? I gots some looking to do to answer my own question.
