I'm new to HiFi audio, and would like to get some thoughts on pairing my new Totem Model-1 Signature (4ohm) speakers with the Roksan Kandy K3 integrated amp (140-watts per channel into 8 ohms and 220-watts into 4 ohms)? The amp is not sold in my area so I don't have a chance to demo it before buying.
Our sound room is about 12x15ft and our tastes lead more towards a warm sound for blues, acoustic guitar and male/female vocalists (Sinead, Paulo Nutini, Dido, Tracy Chapman, Lucinda Williams, etc) and classic rock.
All the reviews are positive, and I like the amp very much on paper, but some thoughts on this specific pairing from those with more experience would be greatly appreciated.
Take care,
Shayne
The amplifier seems to be highly recommended, and has more power than needed to drive your fairly sensitive speakers.
It sounds as if it might be a good choice.
For one that might be even better-sounding, look at the Musical Fidelity M6si integrated. Musical Fidelity makes some incredibly nice-sounding amplifiers. Perhaps you could audition that one.
Thanks for the suggestion. I like what I read about the Music Fidelity M6si, including the USB input and switchable MC/MM phono input, but unfortunately it is out of my price range.

The M3si is $1500, and should drive those speakers well.
