Hello!

As the title reads, I am curious to know if there is such a thing as a standard test set of LPs (non-test tone) that is often used to test cartridges, or if reviewers pick and choose from an experienced collector's point of view. I am aware of Stereophile's "Records to Die for", which each year provides an excellent source of essential recordings - but I was not sure if these were additional choices made after a set of, say, 25 recordings that the industry and audiophiles alike have agreed upon together - that showcase cartridges' capability to display a recording's characteristics (e.g., depth, imaging, ambience, etc.). In advance, I'd like to extend my apologies for such a naive and potentially open-ended question!

Thanks in advance!
