Ive been posting for a while now and assembling my system using a combination of auditioning and learning.
Ive now got a Creek Evo CD, NAD C372 amp and Von Schweikert VR3 speakers, im using a good quality Vampire speaker cable with Monster interconnects.
The problem is that the system whilst being pretty dynamic is very uninvolving and feels almost cold. The music seems accurate but its just not drawing me in. Id like more warmth. rhythm and just general substance.
Im feeling that the NAD is probably the issue, i listened to the VR3's with a Mambo they sounded great, they just were not being driven that well by the 50 watt Mambo
Any thoughts on my system would be appreciated
